International Criminal Courts |
|
On July 17, 1998, the Statute of the
International Criminal Court was approved by a massive majority of
states gathered at the closing conference in Rome. |
| This unique development in international law is particularly significant for the
Middle East and other areas of endemic conflict. |
| On July 1, 2002, the Convention entered into force after over
60 countries ratified the treaty. |
